SHAKI TAVI
“Minor Slip” is the Felte debut from Shaki Tavi, the main project of Oklahoma-born, LA-based DIY lifer Leon Manson and a cadre of friends and commiserators. Through layered squalls of fuzzed-out guitars and overdriven drums, deceptively beautiful pop hooks emerge, illuminated by Manson’s weathered, harmonized baritone and knack for inventive structures. Tracing the record’s origins to a phase of burnout and disillusionment, he recalls, “I started just sitting down with some minimal effects and gear, playing riffs, and asking myself, ‘What if it could be fun? What if it could be for me?’” The result is powerful, vulnerable, catchy, and uncommonly genuine, an eruption of creative force from the child of rock musicians, whose passion and drive emerged as a small town outsider, and strengthened amid the artifice and fend-for-yourself reality of LA.
TRAUMA GLOW
Since their formation in 2023, Trauma Glow has released two EPs and performed extensively across Europe and are set to release their next record “Times New Roman” in Winter. The quartet delivers a captivating blend of melancholic melodies, guitar-driven soundscapes, and dreamy atmospheres that transport listeners to a world where emotions are veiled in a haze. Drawing inspiration from the nostalgic sounds of the 90s and 2000s, Trauma Glow effortlessly weaves elements of shoegaze, emo, grunge, and indie-punk into their musical tapestry, creating a sonic experience that deeply resonates with the listener.
MANIC YOUTH
For over a decade, the band Manic Youth has been drifting—guided by forces beyond their control - through the yearning-filled ravines and celestial gateways of an existence that seems tireless. Their sound is defined by an eccentric blend of glam and goth influences, fusing indie-pop-metal with grunge-gaze. Familiar themes like escape, excess, hope, love, and grief cannot simply be glossed over when the craving for fulfillment hovers persistently over the band. Often desperate yet unyieldingly convinced, the band takes audiences on a turbulent, cathartic journey through melancholic depths and euphoric heights during their live shows. Forced from chaos into beauty, their third studio album, Perfect Health, was released in 2025. The band makes a statement with the honest guitar sound of the nineties, bringing that very feeling into the present day.
